You have ABILITY.: ”
Grace and Peace be unto you, from God our Father, and from the LORD Jesus Christ.
Beloved, I want to take this opportunity to encourage you. You are not a mistake. God not only planned for you, but he planned what kind of asset you would be capable of adding to the Kingdom of God. God does not only plan for you to be a believer, but he planned which church you would be a member of, what auxiliary you would function in. Your gifting is not a coincidence, it is a plan. Even your ability to hear from God is the plan of God. Let’s look at the text.
KJV
Ex. 31:1 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Ex. 31:2 See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
Ex. 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
Ex. 31:4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
Ex. 31:5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
God is telling Moses that he has the intention of calling Bezaleel into service for the Kingdom of Israel. He called him by name, which means he did not put an add in the paper to see who would apply, he determine who he wanted. His birth was a plan, his family was a plan, which tribe he would come from was all a part of the plan of God. Not only his birth, but God equipped him with his spirit. He gave Bezaleel wisdom, understanding and knowledge about the work he equipped Bezaleel for. The ability to plan and design everything needed for the situation.
Beloved, God is a great steward. He plans for the needs of his people. Part of his plan to make sure the Kingdom is safe, is to equip you with his Spirit. Give you the wisdom, the understanding and the knowledge to do the job necessary for the Kingdom. You did not just decide to be who you are, God gave you the gift that makes you unique and capable to provide a special need for the Kingdom of God. You are wise, you have understanding and you are knowledgeable about some things that God has anointed you specifically to provide. Since God is this awesome steward, and has placed you in your church to serve, the thing you need to do is not sell yourself short. Stop thinking of yourself as ordinary. You have the spirit of God. You have the wisdom God gave you. You are anointed for the task needed to serve your community of believers. You have ABILITY! Believe God, trust God and watch him use you to do awesome things. You have ABILITY.
Yours Because I am His,
