Good morning and grace and peace. Today is day number four of our fast. Congratulations again. You are at a pivotal point in this journey. Take the time to appreciate how far you’ve come in this spiritual work. You are now at the halfway point. You have engaged God with prayer. You have started off your year with the same to God: I need your wisdom, your guidance, your direction, and only you are the path to success. So congratulations. Well done.
Today, I want to keep it simple. Sometimes just reading the text is enough. Enjoy.
Psa. 126:0 ¶ A song of ascents.
Psa. 126:1 ¶ When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion,
we were like men who dreamed.
Psa. 126:2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy. ¶ Then it was said among the nations,
“The LORD has done great things for them.”
Psa. 126:3 The LORD has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
Psa. 126:4 ¶ Restore our fortunes, O LORD,
like streams in the Negev.
Psa. 126:5 Those who sow in tears
will reap with songs of joy.
Psa. 126:6 He who goes out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with him.
Remember to drink at least 8 to 12 glasses of water today, and one bowl of soup after three pm. Make sure that you are actively engaging God with your prayer list. This is not a time to pray aimlessly. Be succinct and accurate in your prayers. I look forward to hearing your miracles.
